Time is flying by for our upcoming fantasy title, Court of Venom. The books are in, and our team is in the awareness phase of our social media campaign. I am so excited about all of the amazing ideas our team has come up with, and I’d like to share some of them!
Because this is a fantasy title, there has been a lot of room for creativity with our social media campaigns. We are proud to announce that we’ve collaborated with a local small business that has created bespoke Court of Venom items to be featured in upcoming giveaways! There is more to come soon on that front, but be on the lookout on Ooligan’s Twitter and Instagram for more details!
Our project team has also been hard at work on two special social media projects. In the past, students on project teams have created “Meet the Character” profiles for the main characters in Finding the Vein and Faultland, so we thought this would be an excellent idea to use for Court of Venom as well. Each character post will feature fun details about the character, like their star sign and where they’re from—don’t worry, there won’t be any spoilers! The other aspect we’re focusing on is Badriya’s potions; our goal is to create fun potion posts with recipes and instructions to get people excited about the content of the book. We’re still working on the exact execution of these posts, but I can’t wait to see the final product!
Our team has been working on several smaller projects as well, but those won’t come to fruition until closer to the launch date. Though nothing has been set in stone yet, we are in talks with a book box that is interested in featuring Court of Venom in their April box. If both sides decide to move forward with this partnership, it will be a first for Ooligan and a great way for our readers to snag a copy of the book with some fun goodies as well. We’ll announce any such partnerships on our social media pages, so as always, keep a lookout for more! We are also working on producing limited edition bookmarks, so keep an eye out for information on the launch event in the next couple of months if you want to get some of this amazing Court of Venom swag.
Our team is working incredibly hard on these projects, and though some of them are subject to change as we work through our launch plan, I know that whatever our team comes up with will be well worth the wait. Don’t forget, Court of Venom will be launching on April 5, 2022, so mark your calendars and get ready to come support our team, our wonderful author, Kristin Burchell, and snag yourself some great book swag in the process!
