About the event:

Pitch to Professionals is much like it sounds: attendees of the conference get the opportunity to “pitch” their work to local publishers. There is no promise of publication; rather, it is an event that allows writers the opportunity to practice pitching their manuscripts to publishing professionals and receive feedback on their pitches.

This event is often cited as a favorite among attendees and participants alike, as it gives writers the opportunity to speak with local publishers about their work and also gives publishers the opportunity to connect with writers.
