We hope it will serve a guide for other publishers inspired to integrate sustainability into their operations as well.

Rethinking Paper and Ink: The Sustainable Publishing Revolution is a gem of a publication for anyone tackling the issue of sustainability within the publishing industry. The authors take an honest and thoughtful approach to the publishing process as it evolves from the author to the publisher to the printer to the bookseller, and while there are no perfect solutions for minimizing our collective footprint on the earth, there are numerous (and feasible!) eco-friendly options for industry professionals to incorporate. Rethinking Paper and Ink is a blueprint for action as well as a call for best practices whether one is contemplating the printed page or the next e-book device. I highly recommend this book.
